Profecting His Agenda

U.S. Supreme Court Justice, David Souter, soon to be retired, will be replaced by a Justice of Obama's choosing which will shape a future towards a NWO. Although Souter has been a moderate-to-liberal judge while serving, Obama's pick is sure tobe more attuned with what he has planned on his agenda. Eventhough this is unlikely to have an ideological shift on the makeup of the court, it is highly likely that the next Justice who retires will, especially if Obama is elected to a second term. There is already speculation that President Obama will choose a woman, or a Hispanic, though they are missing the point. We are discussing the next Supreme Court Justice in terms of "representation" instead of the purpose on how they "interpret" and "protect" the law. We have strayed from the important aspects of appointing someone a life long job in the highest court in America.

President Obama says he will choose a nominee that has a "quality of empathy" and said that it is "an essential ingredient for arriving at just decisions and outcomes." This is very dangerous given that, the sole job responsibility of a Supreme Court Justice is to interpret the law and protect our Constitutional rights regardless of one's feelings or emotions. Someone of this nature surely will not protect the Constitution, but want to change it. This shows how far to the left this administration is willing to push the Supreme Court away from the democratic process which is set in concrete. Having "empathy" does not protect the 14th Amendment which guarantees all Americans "equal protection of the laws". Having empathy for groups A and B, does not protect groups Y and Z.

This could also hurt Obama if he chooses a nominee that is to far left, which most conservatives are predicting he will do. In order for this to have any affect on the future ideological makeup of the courts, Obama will need to choose very cautiously. He will need a Justice like Ruth Bader Ginsberg or Stephen Breyer. Someone with broad experience, who is rich in intellect, and has a personality that can persua the other Justices. This requires a Justice that is pragmatic and able to rebuild from the center, otherwise, he will have wasted maybe his only chance to shift the higher court or take it in a new direction. Given the right pick, this can be an opportunity for President Obama to establish a foundation in the high courts (through his pick) and have a sure vote on the big-time issues that shape our laws. Not only for him but for many liberal presidents to come.

One thing is foresure, how President Obama chooses his pick will play a major role in the direction America will take in the future, and that scares me...

Liberals And Their Differences

Most of Americans, mainly LIBERAL Americans, do not seem to care who is elected the next Supreme Court Judge and may not even understand what it means to our country. I'm not judging any one person or implying that if your a liberal, you are stupid, this is besides the point. Most liberals feel a sense of pride or security when their candidates are elected into office. Some feel that the right policies and decisions will be made regardless of what the overall outcome may be. Some liberals also feel that they have no control over what policies and decisions their elected officials make and that their opinion would not make any difference anyway.

The problem is that most liberals let their pride stand before their integrity. They are to proud to contradict their President's judgement. How can they oppose a President's decisions or his policies when they voted him into office. How can they go against a President that they have wanted in office for the past eight years, well at least, the last seven years anyway. This seems to be the issue that most liberals have adopted over the last decade, mainly because of the Bush era. Most liberals have a feeling of resentment toward conservatives and their views. Mainly inpart from the conflict that has took place in the Middle East most of Bush's terms added with the current economic crisis that is now affecting the country in its worst. Who else is their to blame other than the conservatives. By blaming the Republican party for the current issues affecting America today, Democrats feel justified in opposing issues that inhabit conservative policies regardless of whether they work or not. Again, most liberals let their pride stand before their integrity, and allow ignorance to justify what is right against what maybe true. If liberals would ask themselves, who lead the House of Representatives during Bush's two Presidential terms, most probably would not know the answer to this question.

So would it be safe to say that conservatives are smarter then liberals when it comes to politics. In a sense, I would have to say yes and here's why. Most conservative voters make their decision based on the policies and goals set by a candidate rather than what political party he or she belong to. Don't get me wrong, political party does matter, but most rely on their decision based on a candidate's track record, or previous policies that they have opposed on or given their approval for as well as what they have accomplished during their political career. Also by what moral and ethical values the candidate supports and has stood by. During this past Presidential election, liberals in support of the Democratic party and conservatives alike came out in record numbers and placed their votes regardless of their candidates ability to fulfill the job, but instead by who their candidates political party was in support of. So what does this tell us? That most liberals don't care about the real politics involved but rather what party is elected into office.

Let's face it, politicians will be politicians. It's their profession to lie and cheat to suceed. It's in their human nature to do what it takes to climb the corporate latter, to get ahead, and for most, at whatever the cost. Most politicians don't even care about right and wrong, or believe in fighting for what you want or what you deserve. Only what it takes to achieve and acquire the most political power for themselves and their political party.

Most liberals have adapted to the notion that "if you are a Republican, you must be rich", or that conservatives do not care about poor people so conservatives are wrong no matter what they believe is right. Or, since I am living poor and I depise the rich, I will vote for the Democratic party because they believe in providing for the poor. Yet, they fail to see the bigger picture of politics. What policies work, what policies have worked in the past, and what is right, both morally and ethically. The truth is that, liberal policies with social agenda's have never worked when it comes to strengthening the economy and using bigger government to control the social issues that create problems and weaken the country.

Instead it has only lead to bigger government spending to pay for the bigger government needs such as the infrastructer for new government agencies that need more government funded jobs. This also takes away jobs from independent businesses and agencies that operate in a free market. Liberal policies lead to higher unemployment rates. Mainly due to the higher taxes that are put on the middle and upper classes, resulting in corporate and company downsizing, especially the majority of blue-collar jobs. Inflation is a result due to the increases in minimum wage for the lower paying jobs. This in turn increases the overall cost of living and results in people tightening their belts and spending less. This makes it harder for the economy to grow the destroys a free market that strengthens our country's GDP. These are some of the liberal issues that cripple society and prevent America's economy from growing. These are the most important and vital issues that play a role in America's future, both foriegn and demestic.

We have been living in a time where we let our politicians (mainly liberal politians) make the rules regardless of what the people say or think, or what is morally considered a right decision. We have continued to allow them to bend and twist a constitution that has made this country what it was 10-20 years ago, the youngest, richest and most powerful free country in the world. From this, our country's position and where we stand in the world has been slowly deminishing. We continue to allow them to create civil liberty laws that protect the individuals right regardless of what is morally right and how it effects others around them. Gay marriage, abortion, stem cell research, smoking, minimum wage, taxes, just to name a few (feel free to debate me on any of these issues if I have offended you or your beliefs). But I shouldn't have to name them because I know we have all felt the effects of them. And these aren't just conservative beliefs, we have slipped away from the laws and policies that once protected our nation and made us strong, made us united, and that made us the "United States of America". Who we allow to be chosen as our next Supreme Court Justice will play a vital role in America's future which is what my next article will focus on.

What's With the Softball Questions?

President Obama has been praised through our media and blessed with questions such as "what has enchanted you so far in the first 100 days of your Presidentcy?". The Liberal media and press are playing mind games with the world and treating President Obama as if he is a celebrity rather than a President of the United States. Now this is rediculous and out right wrong of our media to avoid the questions to the real issues we are facing and questions that we need answers to. Yet during press conferences the media sticks him with humbling questions as if we wonder if he is comfortable as President or our concern is getting to know him more personally rather than politically. I believe the Liberal media try's to mock conservatives by wasting our time and press time with softball questions they know we care nothing about. When President Obama is asked serious questions, he knows how to beat around the bush and avoid giving us a direct answer, or avoids it by giving us the same-old half-ass answer. I use to look forward to press conferences to get the answers I'm looking for but now I just can't wait to end the next four years. Four years minus 103 days and counting.

Let me set this straight. I do not hate President Barack Obama, I respect him, he is my President and I understand his job, especially today it must be overwhelming. But he needs to deliver and I'm not impressed.

100 Days in Office: Why Does The Majority Still Approve?

Even after adding to an already multi-trillion dollar deficit, mounting unemployment rate, and falling economy, how is it President Obama still has the majority of Americans on his side? Now its only been 100 days since he took office, granted. But nothing President Obama has done has contributed to fixing or even helping the economy in any way. So we ask ourselves, what is it that the majority of America is not seeing?

Let's talk about some of the claims President Obama made at a news conference that was held Wednesday in Arnold, MO. at a high school.

1. According to the news conference Obama states, "
We began by passing a Recovery Act that has already saved or created over 150,000 jobs." Yet according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 1.2 million jobs have been lost in the U.S. since Obama took office. And who's even to say that the stimulus had anything to do with creating those 150,000 jobs other than President Obama.

2. Next President Obama states that, "We must lay a new foundation for growth, a foundation that will strengthen our economy and help us compete in the 21st century." claiming that new investments in education, energy, and healthcare will create savings that will bring down our deficit. Yet Obama has no logical explanation as to how we can pay for an investment of 1 trillion dollars over the next four years for healthcare other than the savings of the 50 billion dollars a year on the Iraqi war.

According to a nonpartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, within four years Obama's policy proposal will add $428
billion a year to the deficit equaling to a total of $1.75 trillion.

3. President Obama also states, "I think one basic principle we know is that the more we do on the (disease) prevention side, the more we can obtain serious savings down the road..." Now after considering our current economic crisis, how is it that, investing our money into disease prevention, that has no gaurantees, a smart investment for fixing the first and foremost important situation we are all facing?, which is unemployment in America and the economy.

This is only the beginning of a policy that makes no sense to me and it is only the first 100 days. Can someone please help me to understand what it is that keeps his approval rating so high and what it is that the American people see that I do not.
